Submit Your Site to Directories
There are many great directories that try to include as many quality sites as possible in their database. It is always a good idea to look up some popular directories and submit your website for index. Although the link juice (i.e. strength of a link) from these directories will vary, some will be of considerable benefit. If you have some extra cash, you can get even more backlinks by paying to get listed in the Yahoo Directory, BOTW (Best of The Web), or in the Business.com directory.

Writing articles for other websites is a smart way to get backlinks to rank better in the search engines. Several places that you can go to publish articles include: InfoBarrel, HubPages, Ezine Articles, and Go Articles. These websites are viewed as “very powerful” in the search engines and will definitely increase the amount of traffic coming to your website. How long does an article need to be for one of these sites? The amount of content that you wish to contribute is completely up to you. Some sites require that you write at least 350 words, while others may require at least 400 words. I recommend aiming for at least 400 words if you want strong backlinks.
Become a Guest Author
The act of guest posting on other websites can be extremely beneficial. In order to guest post, all you need to do is send an email to the webmaster of the website that you would like to write for, and ask whether they would be willing to accept a submission from you. 17. Post Videos on Profit Sharing Sites like Revver
If you want to make money on the internet fast, you can make a viral video and upload it to sites like Revver. They will pay you 40% of the total earnings that your video produces. If you are creative and can provide some videos that other people will enjoy, then you are going to have money making success.
The nice thing is that it is free to become a member on these types of sites. There are various requirements that you must comply with in order to get paid, but they are relatively self-explanatory. There are other sites like MetaCafe that pay their users $5 per 1000 views after the initial 20000 – which is obviously harder to earn with than Revver. You should take the time to figure out which site works best for you before uploading a video with the goal of earning.
18. Create an iPhone Application
If you are an experienced developer, you can write iPhone applications and sell them through the iTunes interface. If you are able to create an application that people find valuable, they will recommend it to others and your sales will increase. You can stand to make a lot of money in a very short period of time if you come up with something innovative or that has a lot of social value.

Obviously if you are getting too many requests, you should probably think about raising your rate. If you aren’t getting enough requests, you may want to lower your asking price. It’s all a matter of experimentation.

If you run a fairly popular blog or website, you probably are getting offers all the time to write a review of a certain product or service. The company will pay you a fairly substantial amount of money if you run a site that has a lot of visitors. If you are able to demand $50 per review and write 4 reviews a week, that’s $400 in earnings just from reviewing products or services.
In most cases with reviews, you can make even more money by including an affiliate link if you like the service. Even if you are not getting emails to write reviews about products, you can always write about your experiences with a certain product or service. If you can genuinely recommend the product, you can make money on the internet each time someone signs up through your affiliate link.
